The designer duo Nachiket & Nishita from Ahmedabad-based design atelier NSAD Studio saw the unique open floor plan concept of the apartment as an initiation to the multitude of ideas which they used in fearless ways. They recalibrated the original floor plan to make the apartment look capacious and carved out spaces to suit the individuality of the dwellers.

Blended in a drama of raw textures and a dash of luxury, the entry porch reflects a perfect canvas of stillness to this beautiful home. A “tree of life” artwork aligning with the client's ethos adorns this space along with a large pivot door opening its gateway to this opulent apartment.

Ideating on the phrase “Living under the same roof”, the duo transformed the high ceiling of the apartment into a singular roof in warm natural oak wood finesse that spans across the public areas drifting away from the feel of an apartment living. The ridge of the roof is accentuated in a raw concrete texture that draws a continuous axis through the entire apartment, synthesizing the spaces together.

While the entire apartment is a vocabulary of elegantly crafted elements, the expansive windows weave the magic by letting in subdued natural light filtering through the vertical gardens in each space, one of the other unique features of the apartment.

The living room exhibits a scene of serene elegance with fine gold accents and a sheen of mid-summer green. A customized center table in raw grey concrete neatly sits in the lounge area separating the sofa from the signature armchairs.

A shelving unit interspersed with greens and treasured items divides this floor space with a bijou dining room and an open kitchen which is accented in a white and soft grey palette adding sophisticated touches to the space.

The neat cuboid carved out in the open floor plan that sits as the Home Theatre Room has been conceived with a subtle playfulness of geometric patterns on the wall facades.

Offside the Home Theatre, the earthy color palette in the parent's bedroom in hues of green along with the warmth of custom-made wooden furniture brings reminiscence of strong association to the cultural roots of the client.

One of the two bedrooms adjoining the home theatre is a stylish ensemble of neoclassical elements with muted metal accents in black. The cloud grey wall panel provides a chic backdrop behind the soft grey upholstered bed overlooking the vertical greens. A floating desk with a wall-mounted vanity mirror creates a cozy corner to complement the ambiance of this bedroom.

Swathed in beautiful red bricks silently enveloping the ceiling to form a canopy, the other of the two bedrooms is a sensorial treat to the eyes. With every little detail curated beautifully, this luxurious Bed Suite with hints of gold and a soft teal palette, designed with an inspiration drawn from modern and traditional elements has an elevated charm in terms of its style. The hanging wooden vanity mirror over the customized console unit perfectly frames the grandeur of this classy bedroom.

Continuing the luxe of the Italian marble floor in the apartment, the adjoining bathrooms also exhibit a celebration of sepia with earthy patterns.
