The plot area is 1715 sq.ft and is located in a densely populated neighbourhood of Shalimar Bagh, Delhi. The site is surrounded by adjoining residences, having access from the main club road. It is a North-West facing house.
This 3bhk home is a family of 3, a young couple and their 5 year old son. The client was very clear on the colour palette of the house. They wanted to have Black, White and Gold interiors with some hint of colours used in furniture.
The client mentioned that the space should be simple, classy and highly functional.

This home is planned in a neo-classical theme. Classical mouldings have been used with modern tinted mirrors. The open plan kitchen just makes the entire space look more open and bigger. The breakfast table cum bar storage space in black flutes connects the lobby and the kitchen area.
The use of white colour on the walls with gold tinted mirrors enhances the space and makes it look rich and classy.
The guest bedroom has a very fresh, breezy and english look to it. Again, mirrors on both the sides of the bed are given with golden borders to make the room look more spacious and vibrant.
The master bedroom has a very modern vibe with a hidden door in the fluted panels which leads to a dressing area and a bathroom. On the tv wall with the study, the use of concrete look grey laminates gives the entire wall an organic yet stylish look.
The kid's bedroom is a lively space done in grey and blue. The mountains and the spaceship wallpaper with a monkey hanging light just creates an earthy terrestrial vibe.
