Ramraksha, by The Space Story

'Less is more' is what we followed as a guideline for this Row House project.

"We want a house of our dreams which reflects our personality" was our clients' brief. When we visited this site, it looked like any other builder finished project. It was a 4 bedroom row house in a society of 18 other row houses. So the main task was to stand-out of the other row houses. The client's requirement was to make the house Vastu compliant without major civil changes. So we planned to convert the 4bedroom plan into a 3 bedroom with a master Suite attached to the bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe down the line. As we had a dedicated timeline we decided to opt for modular furniture.

We planned interiors according to the standards of modular furniture. Along with modular furniture we added some carpentry work for wooden ceiling, mandir , bedroom bathroom doors , wall paneling and some on site furniture along with the main door. The color palette decided for the project majorly reflected the client's mood and energy. Greens, blues, beiges were selected for different areas. A bunk bed was given for the kid’s room so as to have maximum ground space for the study table and play area. Guest room had a sofa cum bed to adjust more wardrobe space for extra storage.

The Dado tile pattern with wall hung planters and charra plaster in the entrance foyer makes the house look different from the rest of the houses in the society. Home office connected with the terrace has been a favorite place for the client as the owner spends most of his time in the office. Overall Space planning and smart furniture Design led to maximum utilization of Area and beautiful aesthetics.
